Alexander Gabriel Albanese, born in 1997. Born and raised in Milan.
For him, photographing means combining light with what memories, influences, novels, long-lost loves have left in his mind. Photographing is not only seeing what is in front of you, but seeing, at the same time, what is in front of you and what you have deep inside. Starting from this idea he tries to give a personal vision to his photographs.
The conclusion of the artistic process takes place in his darkroom in Milan. It is there that he really feels free to express himself and let himself be carried away by what the emulsion reveals. In a world that goes fast, too fast, photography process has allowed him to stop, reflect and focus on the essential.
